IJBAR (International Journal of Bamboo and Rattan) ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published articles through the following archiving policy:
1. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): IJBAR aims to remain a LOCKSS-compliant journal in the online repository of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria.
2. With the support of MDPI and DOAJ, IJBAR is archived on CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): IJBAR aims to also be archived in CLOCKSS, a global digital archive that ensures long-term preservation of scholarly publications in digital formats.
3. Internet Archive: IJBAR content is archived in the Internet Archive of MDPI and that of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
4. Digital Archiving: IJBAR articles are digitally archived in reputable repositories, including:
i) Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
ii) Other relevant national and international repositories such as Boldscholar Research Ltd, Nigeria
iii) Permanent Identifiers: Each article is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure persistent linking and citation. As a new journal, we will rely on MDPI and/or Boldscholar (https://boldscholar.com/).
This policy ensures that IJBAR articles remain accessible and preserved for future generations of researchers, in partnership with MDPI and DOAJ.
